DIVISIONS OVERVIEW

HOW TO COMPETE @ WZA MIAMI, BY DIVISION

MOV’T STANDARDS & HOW TO COMPETE BY DIVISION

INDIVIDUAL | ELITE/RX, INTERNATIONAL CUP, MASTERS 35-39 & MASTERS 40-44

This division is for the individual best of the best. Those that are considering the Elite/Rx division should be at or near the top 100 in their region via the CrossFit Games Open. For both Masters divisions, these are designed for the top athletes in those age divisions, and anyone that is uncertain should consider registering for "Intermediate/Scaled" division

INDIVIDUAL | INTERMEDIATE, MASTERS 45-49, MASTERS 50+, TEEN 16-18 & SCALED

The Intermediate division is for the "weekend warrior" or aspiring competitor. Those looking to compete at WZA Miami in the Intermediate division. For both Masters divisions and Teens 16-18, you should be near the top 20% of your region in your division

SCALED - If you compete in these divisions and don't qualify for your respective division you will be elegible for open registration in the Scaled division

Skills       Pull-Ups, Toes to bar

INDIVIDUAL | YOUTH 13-15 & YOUTH 10-12 DIVISIONS

The Youth 13-15 and Youth 10-12 divisions are designed for the young aspiring competitor! The movement standards for each of these two divisions will differ and are explained below. Please note, competing in the WZA Online Challenge is mandatory to compete in these divisions at Wodapalooza but is strictly an "Open Registration" division. For all athletes that fully participate, complete each workout and submit scores they will be eligible to register for their respective division.

INDIVIDUAL | ADAPTIVE STANDING RX & SCALED

The Standing Adaptive Rx division is designated for the competitive athlete seeking to compete amongst the best of the best in this division. Athletes MUST be able to meet the movement standards outlined below. Only the top 5 of each gender will qualify to compete in this division.

The Standing Adaptive Scaled division is for the aspiring athlete that cannot meet the Rx movement standards outlined below. While this is a non-qualifying division, the athletes that complete all the workouts, submit scores and video, will be eligible to register to compete at WZA Miami in this division during the Open Registration period

The Seated Adaptive Rx division is designated for the competitive athlete seeking to compete amongst the best of the best in this division. Athletes MUST be able to meet the movement standards outlined below. Only the top 5 of each gender will qualify to compete in this division.

The Seated Adaptive Scaled division is for the aspiring athlete that cannot meet the Rx movement standards outlined below. The "Elite/Rx" Team division is designed for the best of the best. Teams with athletes that are CrossFit Games & Regionals-caliber, as well as aspiring CrossFit Games & Regionals athletes shold register for this division.

Teams are comprised of three athletes of the same gender.
Movement Standards:

Clean       225/145lbs       Snatch       185/125lbs
Skills       C2B Pull-ups, T2B, Muscle-ups, HSPU's
*While it is beneficial for all three teammates to meet the above movement standards, it is not required
CHALLENGE COST:
$60 per Team

The "Intermediate/Scaled" Team division is calling all of those athletes looking to throwdown with their friends and have some fun. While still a very competitive division, this is designed for the "weekend warriors" and those not quite at the level of the "Elite/Rx" team division.

Teams are comprised of three athletes of the same gender. For those teams that don't qualify for intermediate, you will be eligible to register via Open Registration for the Scaled Team Division.
Movement Standards:
